- What's the voltage and current rating on these connectors?
- These are rated for DC 1000V and can handle a current of up to 30A. They're designed for standard solar panel systems.
- Will these connectors fit the 4mm² solar cable I already have?
- Yes, they're compatible with 2.5mm², 4mm², and 6mm² solar cables. They are designed to fit cables with an outer diameter between 5mm and 7mm.
- Are these connectors properly waterproof for outdoor use on a roof?
- They are, yes. These connectors have an IP67 rating, which means they are fully protected against dust and can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for a short time. The PPO insulation also provides UV resistance for long-term outdoor installation.
