- You use it to track down electrical faults in 12V and 24V vehicles. The built-in oscilloscope shows live waveforms, so you can read sensor signals, check relays, and spot communication bus errors. It also handles standard voltage and circuit testing like a multimeter.
- Will this work on heavy trucks, not just cars?
- Yes. Its 9V to 30V range covers both 12V car systems and 24V truck systems. You can power it from the vehicle battery through the OBD2 port or feed it an external 9V to 30V supply on the bench.
- What's the oscilloscope bandwidth and how many channels?
- The scope has a 10 MHz bandwidth across 2 input channels, shown on a 3.5-inch color LCD. That range is fine for most automotive sensor and injector signals. It is not built for high-frequency electronics work beyond vehicle systems.
