Selecting the correct belt size is the first critical step. The belt's dimensions, specified as width by length (e.g., 100 x 915mm), must precisely match your belt sander's requirements. An incorrectly sized belt will not track properly, leading to poor performance and potential damage to the tool or workpiece.
