Questions about this product
- Do I really not need to drill any holes?
- Right, these mount with strong double-sided adhesive instead of screws. Clean and dry the surface first, then press the handle on firmly. That makes them a good fit for rentals or glass you can't drill.
- What surfaces will the adhesive stick to?
- They bond to smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, finished wood, laminate, tile, and metal. Rough or textured surfaces won't hold well. The handle should not be used on dusty or oily spots.
- How much pulling force can the adhesive take?
- Each handle holds at least 5 kg, with peel strength around 20 N/cm. That's plenty for light sliding doors and cabinet panels. They aren't meant for heavy doors or anything you'd yank hard.
