- What is a wall chaser used for?
- It cuts neat channels into walls so you can hide cables, electrical conduit, and small pipes. The rotating cutter head grooves concrete, brick, and masonry. You run wires inside the channel, then plaster over it for a clean finish.
- Does it really keep the dust down while cutting?
- Yes, it has a built-in dust collection port that connects straight to a vacuum. That pulls most of the dust away as you cut, so you can see your line and clean up far less. You'll need your own shop vacuum to plug into the port.
- How deep and wide can it cut the groove?
- The cutting depth and width both adjust, so you can match the groove to your conduit or pipe. Set a wider, deeper channel for bigger conduit and a tighter one for single cables. Dial it in before each cut to avoid removing more material than you need.
